A Genuine Tone-Correcting Complex
This isn't a tinted sunscreen with a brightening claim bolted on — it carries four distinct tone-correcting actives. Niacinamide inhibits melanosome transfer. Glutathione inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme that initiates melanin synthesis, working earlier in the pigmentation pathway than niacinamide. Tranexamic Acid — originally a medical anti-fibrinolytic, now widely used topically — interrupts the plasmin pathway implicated in UV- and hormone-triggered pigmentation. Arbutin is a natural tyrosinase inhibitor related to hydroquinone but with a milder profile. Combined, these four work at different points in the pigmentation cascade rather than duplicating one mechanism.
